Taylor Zakhar Perez is reacting to his The Kissing Booth co-star Jacob Elordi‘s comments in which he criticized the popular Netflix franchise.

Both of the actors were in attendance at the 2023 GQ Men of the Year Party on Thursday (November 16) at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles.

Jacob was one of the event’s honorees and he made the Kissing Booth comments in his GQ article.

“I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies. Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape,” Jacob said.

There were so many celebs in attendance at the 2023 GQ Men of the Year party in Los Angeles this year, with Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, and Megan Fox among those bringing star power to the event.

Kim matched her blonde hair to her suede dress while co-hosting the event alongside fellow honorees Travis Scott, Tom Ford, and Jacob Elordi on Thursday (November 16) at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles.

Prior to the main event, GQ global editorial director Will Welch and his co-hosts invited 40 notable guests to the Chateau Marmont Penthouse for an exclusive VIP dinner, presented by Spotify.

Travis gave a surprise performance during the party and singer Tyla joined the rapper to debut their remixed collaboration of the hit song “Water.”

Red, White & Royal Blue is getting a second wind now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is over, and there’s even a hint at a sequel!

If you forgot, Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine starred in the LGBTQ+ rom-com (based on a novel of the same name from author Casey McQuiston) as Alex Claremont-Diaz, First Son of the first female president of the United States, and Prince Henry.

The movie premiered on Prime Video over the summer in the midst of the strike, so the costars weren’t able to acknowledge its release. Now that the strike is over, they both took to social media to thank fans for their support.

Meanwhile, Casey was asked about a sequel and seemingly hinted that something might be in the works!

Most any actor in Hollywood has a story about a bad audition that they went on. Taylor Zakhar Perez just shared one of his, and he compared it to a moment Emma Stone‘s character experienced in one of her movies.

The 31-year-old Red, White & Royal Blue actor opened up about the experience auditioning for a movie that he described as being “Scream-y” and like The Omen.
