Robert Pattinson Wears 'The Batman' Suit - See the Camera Test!

It’s the first look at Robert Pattinson all suited up!

Director Matt Reeves shared the first camera test for the upcoming film The Batman on Thursday (February 13).

The test was filmed by The Batman cinematographer Greig Fraser and features music from the film’s composer, Michael Giacchino, according to THR.

The cast for The Batman also includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Peter Sarsgaard in a not-yet-known role.

Zoe Kravitz is dishing on The Batman preparations!

The 31-year-old actress stopped by Ellen for an interview set to air on Monday (January 13), where she talked about playing Catwoman in the upcoming Matt Reeves-directed movie.

“I’ve been training a ton, which is great and hard,” Zoe shared. “It’s very physical. I come home limping every day.”

The Batman also starring Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright, and Paul Dano is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.

Colin Farrell Confirmed for 'The Batman' Role Opposite Robert Pattinson!

Colin Farrell has been in talks to play the Penguin in the upcoming movie The Batman and now director Matt Reeves has confirmed that he has joined the cast!

The director took to Twitter on Monday (January 6) and wrote, “Wait — is that you, #Oz?” He included a GIF of Colin shrugging.

The Penguin’s real name in the DC Comics is Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, which explains why Matt mentioned Oz in the tweet.

Robert Pattinson will be playing Batman in the upcoming film alongside Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Andy Serkis as Pennyworth, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.

Robert Pattison has a back-up plan!

The 33-year-old Twilight star opened up about his career in an interview with The Guardian.

During the interview, he spoke of his upcoming role in The Batman.

“I felt a connection to it, I don’t know why…I just really wanted it…everyone is attracted to it. It’s an unidentifiable thing,” he said of taking on the title role.

“I’m already remembering what it’s like to talk about a movie where there’s an expectation. Whenever you say anything, people are like, ‘Argh! You idiot!’ Like, dude, I haven’t even started yet!” he went on to say.

“But there is no harsher critic of myself than myself, so I don’t need to worry about anyone else.”

When asked what his plan will be if he doesn’t live up to those expectations, he said with a laugh: “Porn…but art house porn.”

Peter Sarsgaard Joins Cast of 'The Batman'

Peter Sarsgaard has joined the cast of The Batman!

Director Matt Reeves took to Twitter on Friday (December 6) to reveal that the 48-year-old actor has signed on to join the cast.

As of right now, Peter‘s role is being kept under wraps, but people are speculating that he might be playing District Attorney Harvey Dent, who becomes the villain Two-Face.

Fun fact: Peter‘s wife Maggie Gyllenhaal starred in Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight as assistant district attorney Rachel Dawes, who had a romantic relationship with Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, and Jeffrey Wright is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.

John Turturro Joins 'The Batman' as Crime Boss Carmine Falcone

John Turturro has joined the star-studded cast of The Batman!

Director Matt Reeves announced on Twitter on Friday (November 22) that the 62-year-old Emmy-winning actor will be playing Gotham City crime boss Carmine Falcone.

Tom Wilkinson previously played Falcone in Christopher Nolan‘s Batman Begins, while John Doman portrayed him on Fox’s Gotham.

John joins Robert Pattinson (Batman), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), Andy Serkis (Alfred), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), and Paul Dano (The Riddler) in upcoming movie.

Pre-production is expected to begin next summer, and the movie is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.

Colin Farrell to Play Penguin, Andy Serkis to Play Alfred Pennyworth in 'The Batman'

Colin Farrell is in talks to play The Penguin!

The 43-year-old Total Recall actor is in negotiations with Warner Bros. to take on the villainous role in Matt Reeves‘ upcoming The Batman, according to Deadline on Tuesday (November 5).

The role was originated by Danny DeVito in Batman Returns in 1992.

In addition, Andy Serkis is in talks to play Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s butler, in the film, according to Variety.

As previously reported, Robert Pattinson will play Batman, Paul Dano will play The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz will play Catwoman.

Pre-production is expected to begin next summer, and the movie is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
