In a new interview, the 40-year-old actor talked about prepareing for his serial killer role in the upcoming Netflix thriller, revealing that he actually attended nursing school to learn what nurses do.
The Oscar-winning co-stars posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of The Good Nurse held during the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday evening (September 11) at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
The first trailer and images from the film, which also stars Eddie Redmayne, were released this week.
Here’s a summary: Amy, a compassionate nurse and single mother struggling with a life-threatening heart condition, is stretched to her physical and emotional limits by the hard and demanding night shifts at the ICU. But help arrives, when Charlie, a thoughtful and empathetic fellow nurse, starts at her unit.
While sharing long nights at the hospital, the two develop a strong and devoted friendship, and for the first time in years, Amy truly has faith in her and her young daughters’ future. But after a series of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect, Amy is forced to risk her life and the safety of her children to uncover the truth.
Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne are starring in the upcoming Netflix thriller The Good Nurse and the streamer has released the first photos from the movie.
The film, directed by Another Round writer Tobias Lindholm, is based on a true story.
“Suspicious that her colleague is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths, a nurse risks her own life to uncover the truth in this gripping thriller based on true events,” Netflix said in the official description.
