One familiar face will not be returning to The Hills.

The original queen of The Hills Lauren Conrad will not be coming back for the reality show’s reboot series.

After it was announced at the 2018 MTV VMAs that The Hills would be coming back, it has been reported that the 32-year-old fashion designer has no plans on returning to the show.

“She’s in a different place in her life,” a source told People. “But she wants everyone to enjoy themselves. She wishes everyone the best.”

Lauren starred on the show from 2006 to 2009, before leaving a year before The Hills final season.

Since leaving the show, Lauren has built her own fashion career while also becoming a mom to son Liam whom she welcomed in July 2017 with husband William Tell.

The Hills: New Beginnings reboot is set to return to MTV in early 2019 with returning stars Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Audrina Patridge.

The reality stars were at the event to announce that MTV has greenlit The Hills: New Beginnings, a new docuseries to premiere in 2019.

The Hills: New Beginnings will reunite original cast members, alongside their children and friends, and follow their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles. With new faces in the picture and returning favorites, The Hills is back for a new beginning.

The cast of The Hills is reuniting for a “big announcement”!

The stars of the hit MTV series are set to reunite on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 20) in New York City, according to People.

The Hills originally ran for six seasons from 2006 to 2010. Could a reboot possibly be in the works?

Kristin recently revealed this year that she was about to partake in a Hills reunion, but it was stalled by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

The original cast included Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, Stephanie Pratt, Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado.

There was a mini The Hills reunion this week and it feels like we’re in the early 2000s all over again!

Former stars of the hit MTV reality show Kristin Cavallari and Heidi Montag reunited at an event on Wednesday afternoon (August 30) – and they shared the special occasion on Instagram.

“This girl. Love her and that cute little belly. Thanks for coming by @heidipratt,” Kristin captioned the below photo of herself and a very pregnant Heidi.

Kristin and Heidi starred on The Hills together from 2009 to 2010 when the show ended.

Since then, Kristin married NFL player Jay Cutler and have three kids together – Camden, 5, Jaxon, 3, and Saylor, 1.

Heidi and husband Spencer Pratt are currently expecting their first child together.

Audrina Patridge is opening up about the possibility of a reunion of The Hills cast and she says she’s not opposed to the idea!

“I’m not opposed to it. I feel like we are all at a different place in our lives and we’re past the drama, past the cat fights,” Audrina told E! News. “We’re all married, we all have kids, we’re all at a different place in our lives so we’d all be able to relate to each other way more.”

Audrina was in Miami this weekend to debut the latest collection in her swimwear line Prey Swim. She walked down the runway for the finale of the line’s Miami Swim Week show.

“I have a great team around me but it does get a little chaotic at some times,” Audrina said about being a busy mom. “Even backstage at the fashion show, there’s so much going on and I just always remind myself to breathe.”

Kim Kardashian may be famous for her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but she once made an appearance on another reality show – The Hills!

On Tuesday, MTV released never-before-seen footage of the 35-year-old reality star’s cameo on The Hills in honor of the show’s 10-year anniversary.

In the clip – shown during The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now – Kim (pre-Kanye West) is being given a tour of Heidi Montag‘s home during a party at Heidi and Spencer Pratt‘s apartment.

Other attendees included Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, and a girl named Olivia.

Lauren Conrad takes us back 10 years in an upcoming MTV special called The Hills: That Was Then, This is Now.

The 30-year-old fashion designer revisits the cultural phenomenon in celebration of the show’s 10-year anniversary and addresses some of the show’s best-kept secrets.

Lauren also looks back on her tumultuous early days in Los Angeles, and explains how they led to her current successful career and loving marriage.
