The band The Wanted has just announced they will be breaking up to pursue personal pursuits.

The guys – Nathan Sykes, Max George, Siva Kanaswaran, Tom Parker, and Jay McGuiness – released a statement on their site.

“This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour’s conclusion. The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour,” the announcement read.

“We just want to say thanks again to you all for your massive love and support, it means so much to us. We love you guys!” the band tweeted.

Tom, however, assured his fans: “Just want to say…It’s a break, not the end. You can’t get rid of us that easily haha! x”

Ariana Grande is red hot while hitting the stage at B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash held at Allstate Arena on Saturday (December 14) in Chicago, Ill.

The 20-year-old entertainer was joined at the concert by her boyfriend Nathan Sykes and his The Wanted bandmates, as well as Jason Derulo.

Nick and Joe Jonas held a semi-Jonas Brothers reunion minus their older brother Kevin, who is awaiting the arrival of his first child.

“Thank you B96 for having me at Jingle Bash! had a blast. lots of love Chicago :)” Ariana tweeted after the show.

The Wanted band member Siva Kaneswaran has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Nareesha McCafferey, according to People!

“I found out Nareesha was planning a surprise party on my birthday with her family so I thought [it was] perfect,” the 25-year-old singer shared to Hello! magazine. “I’d bought the ring months before I’d been trying to figure out the right time.”

He added, “I said to her I wanted a present I would always remember this year by … for you to be my wife. It was like a military operation to plan the proposal. I couldn’t even tell the other boys in the band in case they blew the surprise.”

Congrats to the happy couple!

The 25-year-old entertainer was photographed on a picturesque estate in New York wearing nothing but his Buffalo underwear and jeans.

The Wanted stop to pose for photographers as they exit Fountain Studios after making an appearance on The X Factor UK on Sunday (October 27) in London, England.

The guys – Nathan Sykes, Max George, Siva Kanaswaran, Tom Parker, and Jay McGuiness – performed their last single “Show Me Love (America)” from their upcoming album Word of Mouth.

“Thanks for all your amazing comments, we loved that performance,” the boys wrote on their Twitter account. “If you haven’t done so yet download #ShowMeLove now!”

Word of Mouth hits stores worldwide on November 4!

Michelle Obama makes an appearance at the 2013 Arthur Ashe Kids Day held at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon (August 24) in New York City.

The First Lady of the United States was joined at the family friendly event to launch this year’s U.S. Open tournament by performers Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, and The Wanted.

“Performing at #ArthurAsheKidsDay can’t wait for you to hear, tune in tomorrow,” Ariana tweeted before the event, which is airing on CBS at noon this afternoon.

FYI: Austin is wearing Levi’s jeans.
