Who Should Britney Spears Collaborate With Next? Vote For Your Choice in Our Poll!

Britney Spears appears to be making a musical comeback, and we want to know who you think she should work with next.

The 41-year-old Princes of Pop hasn’t released an album since Glory in 2016. However, she returned to the charts (and made history) alongside Elton John with their hit “Hold Me Closer” in 2022. Now, she is reunited with “Scream & Shout” collaborator Will.i.am to drop a new song called “Mind Your Business.”

These singles got us thinking, and we started putting together a list of artists that we would love to see Britney duet with in the future. Should she hop in the studio with Rihanna? What about Lady Gaga or Ariana Grande or Dua Lipa?

She has even previously expressed interest in working with Justin Timberlake again, and we can totally picture a second Madonna duet! That’s barely scratching the surface of viable options.

Frankly, there are too many for us to choose from. So we put together a poll and that’s where you come in!

The Weeknd Says He 'Very Much' Expected Criticism of 'The Idol'

The Weeknd is speaking out about all the criticism surrounding The Idol.

The HBO series has been controversial even before its official release, with Rolling Stone publishing a bombshell expose in March that detailed the ways in which the project had gone “wildly, disgustingly off the rails.”

More recently, there were rumors that the show would not be returning for a second season after it was reported that ratings for the second episode fell by 12% after the June 11 premiere. HBO subsequently issued a statement denying the report.

In a new interview with Variety, The Weeknd – who stars in the show alongside Lily Rose Depp – said that he “very much” expected the negative reactions.

'The Idol' Will Not Return for Season 2, Sources on Set Speak Out About The Weeknd's Behavior (Report)

UPDATE: HBO has responded to this report.

ORIGINAL: The Weeknd‘s The Idol is reportedly not coming back for a second season.

Following both backlash and ridicule on social media for its sex scenes, the singer’s highly controversial series is said not to be coming back for a second season, via Page Six.

Ratings for the second episode fell by 12%, or more than 100,000 viewers, from the June 11 premiere.

“This was never meant to be a long-running show, it was always…a limited series,” a source told the outlet, adding that “It’s a Sam Levinson show, and you know what you’re getting with a Sam Levinson show.”

One show source told Page Six that working with The Weeknd in character as Tedros was “not an ideal experience…and not one I am eager to repeat,” while another called him “egomaniacal.”

However, another source close to the production told Page Six that the singer was “beloved,” adding: “He literally opened up his home for the cast and crew. Almost the entire show was shot inside his home.”

The Weeknd has since addressed the backlash over the awkward sex scene.
