Thomas Doherty has opened up about the star he often gets mistaken for and it’s none other than Richard Madden!

The 26-year-old Gossip Girl star spoke to the Scottish Daily Record in a new interview and revealed that many fans approach him, thinking he was the one who is known for playing Rob Stark in Game of Thrones, and Ikarus in Eternals, instead of Richard.

“It’s so embarrassing,” Thomas said. “It first happened when I was in a Starbucks in Burbank and a girl was like, ‘Oh my God! Are you who I think you are?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, it’s me.’”

He went on, saying that the fan “asked for a photo and I was said, ‘Yeah, of course you can.’ I was doing the whole thing, getting a photo taken, but then she said how she l loved me in Game Of Thrones! I didn’t know whether to say, ‘Wait, no, that’s not me!’”

Thomas laughs about it now: “It was so embarrassing that in the end I just decided to be Richard Madden.”

Thomas Doherty is taking on a new role!

According to Deadline, the Gossip Girl star has joined the cast of the horror thriller The Bride.

He will be replacing Garrett Hedlund in the role, who “recently moved on from the project,” according to the outlet.

Lots of stars stepped out this weekend to attend the Thom Browne show during New York Fashion Week!

Hailee Steinfeld, Lee Pace, MJ Rodriguez, and Dan Levy were among the celebs who attended the event on Saturday (September 11) in New York City.

The show marked Thom Browne‘s return to NYFW for the first time in four years. He presented both his spring 2022 men’s and women’s collections during the event!

Rosalia, Nine Perfect Strangers‘ Grace Van Patten, singer Troye Sivan, and Gossip Girl‘s Thomas Doherty and Evan Mock were among the guests as well.

All the stars came out for the Coach fashion show during NYFW: The Shows on Friday (September 10) in New York City!

Camila Morrone, Alexandra Daddario and Tommy Dorfman led the stars to the fashion event where a special episode of Coach TV: Public Access was made.

The collection debut, broadcast live around the world on the house’s brand channels, evolves the house’s innovative hybrid approach to the runway, combining a live show with its popular digital format to celebrate the enduring spirit and creative energy of New York City in a bold new way.

Legendary singer Chaka Khan sat next to Jon Batiste, Kelsey Lu, Charli XCX, Lori Harvey, Brittany O’Grady, and Stella Maxwell.

Gossip Girl star Thomas Doherty was also at the event, with Rickey Thompson, Alexander Hodge, William Peltz, Ziwe Fumudoh, Ross Butler, Zoe Levin, Maddie Ziegler, Blake Gray, Noah Beck, Quincy Brown, Rainey Qualley, Eric Nam, Alexander Roth, and Karrueche Tran.
