Ben Stiller is in “final talks” to star in a limited series adaptation of the popular documentary Three Identical Strangers.
The documentary premiered in 2018 and was on the shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
The limited series will “focus on the true story of Bobby Shafran, David Kellman, and Eddy Galland — identical triplets who were separated at birth only to be reunited later in life,” according to Variety.
Ben is in talks to play all three of the brothers.
While Ben has been active in directing TV shows like Escape at Dannemora and Severance, this would be a rare TV acting role for him. In fact, he hasn’t led a project since 2017′s The Meyerowitz Stories.
