The trailer for season 5 part 1 of Virgin River just debuted online.

Season five of Virgin River features surprising new relationships, a shocking break-up, a difficult court trial, a heartbreaking goodbye, and a wildfire that threatens the town, bringing some people of Virgin River together while tearing others apart. Issues of motherhood push Mel to make a big decision about her future at the clinic while her pregnancy unexpectedly sparks an emotional connection to her past. To further prove himself to Mel, Jack squares off with some long-overdue confrontations–with his own demons, and of course, Charmaine. And as Doc and Hope’s respective impairments throw their identities into question, the doctor and the mayor must find solace in their community, in their young new family, and in each other.

Virgin River is a beloved show on Netflix and the series is returning for season five this fall!

The upcoming season is being split into two parts with 10 episodes debuting on the streamer on September 7 and two holiday-themed episodes arriving on November 30.

Netflix has teased that season five of Virgin River features “surprising new relationships, a shocking break-up, a difficult court trial, a heartbreaking goodbye, and a wildfire that threatens the town, bringing some people of Virgin River together while tearing others apart. Issues of motherhood push Mel to make a big decision about her future at the clinic while her pregnancy unexpectedly sparks an emotional connection to her past. To further prove himself to Mel, Jack squares off with some long-overdue confrontations–with his own demons, and of course, Charmaine. One major star from the previous seasons is not returning for season five and a new star has been announced. There will be 11 returning series regulars!

Huge news – Netflix has reportedly renewed Virgin River for not one, but two more seasons on the streaming service, USA Today reports!

Season three debuted in July of 2021 and was consistently in the “most popular” section on Netflix. It looks like seasons four and five will now be coming soon, too.

Martin Henderson, Alexandra Breckenridge, Tim Matheson, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Lauren Hammersley, Grayson Gurnsey, Sarah Dugdale, Marco Grazzini, Annette O’Toole and Chase Petriw all star in the show based off of Robyn Carr‘s book series of the same name.

This Is Us fans were so confused by the season four premiere because we were introduced to so many new characters… so who are they?!

For the first hour of the 68 minute episode, the only familiar faces we saw were Mandy Moore‘s Rebecca and Milo Ventimiglia‘s Jack. The rest of the cast was completely new to us.

There are already lots of fan theories about who the new characters are and we’ll probably slowly find out more details throughout the season.

For now, we do know some details about all of the characters and the actors who play them. There definitely are a lot of secrets left to uncover in the meantime.
