Vanessa Morgan is over people labeling black women ‘divas’ after an exchanged with a troll on Twitter this week.

The 28-year-old Riverdale star clapped back at a Twitter user who claimed Ashleigh Murray was written off the series for being a diva.

“The pussycats were written off because @iamamurray is a known diva and didn’t wait to share the screen with other talented women even on Katy Keene she barely shares scenes with other women because she’s a diva,” the tweet, which has since been deleted, read.

Vanessa, who was looped into the conversation, wasn’t having any of it.

“You don’t know what the f*** your talking about and don’t talk about my friend like that. Another thing i hate BLACK women being called DIVAS for sticking up for themselves,” she wrote. “Maybe the show should write for her like the white characters. You picked the wrong day get off my page.”

Ashleigh retweeted Vanessa‘s statement, and responded to the troll herself.

“Lol you clearly have me mixed up with someone else,” she started. “I love the Pussycats more than any show ever did. If it were up to me, we’d have our own show. And you obviously don’t watch Katy Keene because sis is surrounded by women. So f*** all the way off.”

Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech have tied the knot!

The 27-year-old Riverdale star and the 23-year-old MLB player exchanged vows in front of their loved ones in an intimate ceremony at the Historic Walton House on Saturday (January 4) in Homestead, Fla., E! News reports.

About 40 guests attended, including Vanessa‘s Riverdale co-stars Skeet Ulrich, Drew Tanner, and Madelaine Petsch. Vanessa‘s sister Celina was her maid of honor.

“We both knew the first day we met that ‘this is it’ and I’m so excited that today officially starts our forever,” Vanessa told the outlet. “Today, I vowed to love my best friend for a lifetime and it was a day spent with those we love in a room filled with endless love. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”

Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech got engaged during Fourth of July weekend last year.

Whitney Houston and Kygo‘s collaboration “Higher Love” has just got the music video treatment, and you can watch it right here!

The track is the late singer’s cover of Steve Winwood‘s song “Higher Love” recorded back in 1990. Kygo teamed up with the Whitney Houston Estate to remaster the recording.

The 27-year-old Riverdale actress and the 23-year-old baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox are now engaged, they announced on Wednesday (July 3).

“My Forever 😭💍♥️,” Vanessa captioned a gorgeous shot of the proposal on Instagram, which took place in front of Mooney Falls near the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Vanessa and Michael first went public with their relationship about a year ago.

“So I’ll start with the obvious: I love you,” Michael captioned an Instagram video of the proposal (below). “I love you intensely, passionately, & also at times, recklessly. I make decisions on the spur of the moment (i mean look at how our relationship has gone up to this point). I’m a very non traditional type of person and I know I’ve found mymatch in you when it comes to that especially.”

“Our relationship probably doesn’t make sense to many people for a sh*t ton of reasons, but we’re not doing it for them,” he continued. “We know this is forever. Why would we wait? lol. You literally stayed by my side when I felt I had lost my mind. You stayed by my side for these seemingly random changes of my life. You stayed when often times I didn’t deserve it. You’ve loved me for ME from day one. Completely unselfishly. You’re undeniably the spark that reignited my fire. You’re deserving of much more than just this moment but this one just felt particularly magical. I’m incredibly humbled by the love that you give and I only hope I can portray a fraction of the love and light that you carry with you.”

“I’ll never have enough words to tell you how much I love you, but I promise to always show you,” Michael Kopech finished writing to Vanessa Morgan. “But for now, I’ll finish this how I started: I love you. SO MUCH. @vanessamorgan.”

The two actresses stepped out for Rachel Zoe‘s annual party on Friday afternoon (April 12) at Parker Palm Springs in Palm Springs, Calif.

Vanessa sang to a blow-up doll and after she was done performing, co-host Chrissy Teigen told her husband John Legend, who was a special guest on the episode, that he should wear the doll’s wig. So funny!

The episode will be airing on Thursday (February 7) at 9pm on the Paramount Network.
