The cast of Orange Is the New Black was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, though they lost to the cast of Veep.

There were 45 members of the cast eligible for a trophy if the cast won. Lupita Nyong’o and Lea Delaria hit the red carpet at the 2016 Obie Awards on Monday (May 23) at Webster Hall in New York City.

The actresses were joined by the ensemble casts of their productions Eclipsed and Orange is the New Black, both of which were honored at the event.

Representing Orange is the New Black were Vicky Jeudy, Annie Golden, Emma Myles, Kimiko Glenn and Dale Soules, who joined their cast mates on stage in orange jumpsuits during the ceremony.

Joining Lupita from Eclipsed were Pascale Armand, Akosua Busia, Danai Gurira, Zainab Jah and Saycon Sengbloh.

Also in attendance were stars Ben Platt, Marlo Thomas, Leslie Odom Jr. and Maura Tierney.

Tatayna Ali cradles her growing baby bump while walking the red carpet at the 2016 Black Girls Rock event on Friday (April 1) at NJPAC in Newark, N.J.

The 37-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel Air actress just announced earlier in the week that she is pregnant with her first child!

Chris Rock suits up while walking the carpet at the 2016 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon on Thursday afternoon (February 25) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 51-year-old comedian will be hosting the Oscars this weekend and he was joined at the event by such stars as Thandie Newton and Kelly Rowland.

Taylor Schilling, Natasha Lyonne, Uzo Aduba, and Laura Prepon all hit the orange carpet at the Orange Is the New Black Orangecon Fan Event held at Skylight Clarkson Sq. on Thursday (June 11) in New York City.
