Let us introduce you to Victor Rasuk and Nathalie Kelley, the two stars of the ABC series The Baker and the Beauty, which is turning into a hit on Netflix.

The modern-day fairytale series is a remake of the Israeli show Beauty and the Baker, which is one of the highest-rate scripted series ever in Israel. The romantic series is fittingly getting a premiere behind The Bachelor spinoff series Listen to Your Heart.

In The Baker and the Beauty, Daniel Garcia (Rasuk) is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton (Kelley), an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life moves into the spotlight. Will this unlikely couple upend their lives to be together and pull their families into a culture clash?

So, where do you know Victor and Nathalie from?

Victor is known for his role as Anastasia Steele’s best friend Jose in the Fifty Shades franchise and he also starred in TV shows like How to Make It in America, Stalker, and Jack Ryan.

Nathalie had her big break when she played Neela in 2006′s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Since then, she’s starred in TV shows like Body of Proof, The Vampire Diaries, and Dynasty.

The first season of The Baker and the Beauty is now streaming on Netflix, but we have some bad news for fans of the show.

It’s a sad day for The Baker and The Beauty fans.

The series has failed to find a new home after it was cancelled by ABC in the recent months.

Efforts were made to place the show, which starred Nathalie Kelley and Victor Rasuk as the title characters, on another network. But there were no takers.

“Baker and the Beauty is a show that depicts Latin families as warm, lovable, full of joy and compassion and humor,” Nathalie shared in an open letter to the fandom who was just as outraged as she was that ABC cancelled the show. “A cancellation by ABC means that there are now no shows on the networks with a Latinx cast. At a time when the public is marching in the streets demanding representation and diversity this is an extremely tone deaf decision.”

The first trailer for ABC’s The Baker and the Beauty was just released!

The new series stars Nathalie Kelley and Victor Rasuk in the title roles, alongside Michelle Veintimilla, Belissa Escobedo, Lisa Vidal, Carlos Gomez, David Del Rio, and Dan Bucatinsky.

It’s upfronts week and all of the networks are bringing their big stars to the Big Apple to meet the advertisers!

Lots of actors stepped out for ABC’s event during the Disney Upfront Experience on Tuesday (May 14) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

FX and National Geographic had their upfronts as part of the Disney Upfront Experience and stars there included Fargo‘s Chris Rock, Pose‘s Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez, Mayans M.C.‘s JD Pardo, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Kaitlin Olson, and Brain Games host Keegan-Michael Key. Also there was Lil Dicky, who has a comedy headed to FX.

Clint Eastwood, son Scott Eastwood, and daughter Alison Eastwood make it a family night at the world premiere of Clint and Alison‘s new movie The Mule!

The 88-year-old Gran Torino actor, the 32-year-old Pacific Rim Uprising star, and the 46-year-old Battlecreek actress joined forces at the event held at Regency Village Theatre on Monday (December 10) in Westwood, Calif.

Clint stars in, directed, and produced the film.

They were also joined by co-stars Taissa Farmiga, Michael Pena, Andy Garcia, Dianne Wiest, Clifton Collins Jr., Manny Montana, Noel Gugliemi, Ignacio Serricchio, Loren Dean, Lobo Sebastian, Victor Rasuk, and Austin Freeman.

Clint‘s granddaughter Graylen, his girlfriend Christina Sandera, and his ex-wife Maggie Johnson were also there to show their support, along with Max Adler, Elisabeth Rohm, Alex Meneses, Steve Guttenberg, Marcia Gay Harden, Patrick Fabian, Joey Fatone, Brett Dalton, Betsy Brandt, Logan Shroyer, Kim Raver, David Hasselhoff, Hayley Roberts, and Toby Keith.

In The Mule, a 90-year-old horticulturist and WWII veteran is caught transporting $3 million worth of cocaine through Michigan for a Mexican drug cartel.

The movie is the sequel to the smash hit Fifty Shades of Grey and cast members Marcia Gay Harden, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, and Eloise Mumford all return along with the addition of Kim Basinger, Bella Heathcote, and Eric Johnson.

Here is the official synopsis: “When a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past start to circle the couple, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.”
