Wentworth Miller Debuts 'Prison Break' Reboot Trailer at Fox Upfront 2016!

Sarah Wayne Callies, Wentworth Miller, and Dominic Purcell reunite on stage at the 2016 Fox Upfront Presentation held at the Beacon Theatre on Monday (May 16) in New York City.

The actors were at the event to debut the trailer for the reboot of their beloved series Prison Break. Outside of the theater, the network had people dressed up in orange jumpsuits to promote the return of the show.

The original action drama centered on Michael Scofield (Miller), a young man determined to save his convicted brother, Lincoln Burrows (Purcell), from death row by hatching an elaborate plan to escape from prison. In the all-new event series, filmed on location in Morocco, clues surface that suggest a previously thought-to-be-dead Michael may be alive. Lincoln and Sara (Callies), Michael’s wife until he was assumed dead, reunite to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), T-Bag (Robert Knepper) and C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar), are pulled back into the action.

Wentworth Miller No Longer a Series Regular on 'Legends of Tomorrow,' Will Recur on Multiple DC Series

Wentworth Miller will no longer be a series regular on The CW’s comic book series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

While the 43-year-old actor will not be recurring on the show as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, he will still make appearances on the series.

Wentworth will also be appearing on other DC shows from executive producer Greg Berlanti throughout the season, effectively making him a series regular in the universe.

“We always knew that he wouldn’t be a permanent member of The Waverider,” Greg told Deadline. “We also knew we loved him on the show and all the shows, Flash as well.”

Greg added that while Wentworth “won’t be part of the team of Legends on board of The Waverider next year, he will have a very active role on the show… In success we hope to continue with other characters finding their way across all the shows.”

The other shows that Greg is producing are The Flash and Arrow.

Wentworth Miller Fires Back at Fat Shaming Meme, Opens Up About Suicidal Thoughts in Powerful Facebook Note

Wentworth Miller is responding to a meme that was seen floating around on Monday (March 28) that shamed his body in a side by side comparison.

“Today I found myself the subject of an Internet meme. Not for the first time,” the Prison Break actor wrote on his Facebook. “This one, however, stands out from the rest. In 2010, semi-retired from acting, I was keeping a low-profile for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I was suicidal. This is a subject I’ve since written about, spoken about, shared about. But at the time I suffered in silence. As so many do. The extent of my struggle known to very, very few.”

“Ashamed and in pain, I considered myself damaged goods. And the voices in my head urged me down the path to self-destruction. Not for the first time. I’ve struggled with depression since childhood. It’s a battle that’s cost me time, opportunities, relationships, and a thousand sleepless nights,” Wentworth continued in his powerful note.

“In 2010, at the lowest point in my adult life, I was looking everywhere for relief/comfort/distraction. And I turned to food. It could have been anything. Drugs. Alcohol. Sex. But eating became the one thing I could look forward to. Count on to get me through. There were stretches when the highlight of my week was a favorite meal and a new episode of TOP CHEF. Sometimes that was enough. Had to be,” he added. “Long story short, I survived….So do those pictures. I’m glad. Now, when I see that image of me in my red t-shirt, a rare smile on my face, I am reminded of my struggle. My endurance and my perseverance in the face of all kinds of demons. Some within. Some without.”
