Here’s the official synopsis: Left on a nun’s doorstep, Larry, Curly and Moe grow up finger-poking, nyuk-nyuking and woo-woo-wooing their way to uncharted levels of knuckleheaded misadventure. Out to save their childhood home, only The Three Stooges could become embroiled in an oddball murder plot…while also stumbling into starring in a phenomenally successful TV reality show.

Jane Lynch has joined the cast of the upcoming film The Three Stooges, according to Deadline.

The 50-year-old Glee actress will play Mother Superior, the head nun at the orphanage where the trio of men grew up, despite her attempts at getting them adopted.

Jane will be joining Sean Hayes as Larry, Will Sasso as Curly, and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe.

Production on the film, which will be directed by The Farrelly Brothers, begins in May.

Sean Hayes has been cast to play Larry Fine in the upcoming film, The Three Stooges!

The 40-year-old Will & Grace star joins Will Sasso, who’ll be taking on the role of Curly in the slapstick comedy, Deadline reports, adding that the part of Moe hasn’t been cast yet.

The flick won’t be “a biopic but will be divided into roughly half-hour vignettes,” according to THR.
