Rafael Nadal enjoyed a fun day on a yacht earlier this month and new photos have emerged!

Shortly after his win at the French Open, the 36-year-old tennis player was seen recharging on a yacht with his friends and family, including wife Mery “Xisca” Perello, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

Now, Rafael is playing at Wimbledon and he won his first grass-court match in three years during an exhibition match on Wednesday (June 22).

“It has been a while without playing on grass,” Nadal said (via BBC). His chronic foot injury had left his Wimbledon prospects in doubt, but it looks like he’ll be playing!

“I am older now – I can’t manage to play so many matches,” Nadal said after the exhibition match. “For me it is perfect to play a couple of matches here before Wimbledon starts. That helps me to feel at least some competition before Wimbledon.”

Rafael Nadal suffered a devastating loss at the ATP Finals to Alexander Zverev on Monday (November 11), and he lost his cool at his post-match press conference.

Rafael, who is ranked number one in the world, was married to his longtime love Xisca Perello on October 12. A reporter at the post-game press conference suggested that perhaps his marriage caused him to become distracted.

“Honestly, are you asking me this?” Rafael responded upon hearing the question. “Is this a serious question or is it a joke?

“It’s a big surprise you’re asking me this after being with the same girl for 15 years, having a very stable and normal life. It doesn’t matter if you put a ring on your finger or not,” he continued.

“How many years have you been with your (partner)?” Rafael asked the reporter.

Rafael concluded the line of questioning by calling the question “bullsh*t.”

Rafael proposed to Xisca back in May during a romantic trip to Rome after 14 years of dating.

Rafael and Xisca‘s wedding comes a little more than a month after he won his fourth U.S. Open win and 19th Grand Slam.

Rafael Nadal and his longtime love Xisca Perello are reportedly engaged!

The 32-year-old tennis star has been dating Xisca for 14 years, and according to Hello!, popped the question during a romantic trip to Rome!

Rafael has not publicly commented on the news, but reportedly, they got engaged eight months ago.

The couple has often kept private about their relationship, and the first photos we have of them together are from a beach vacation back in 2013.
