Olly Alexander (aka Years & Years) is the next artist to be featured on Lady Gaga‘s Born This Way Reimagined – The Tenth Anniversary album!

The 30-year-old singer did a cover of “The Edge of Glory,” which is the fourth song to be released from the upcoming album.

The album contains Gaga‘s original Born This Way album, along with six new versions of songs reimagined by artists representing and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community.

In addition to Olly‘s music career, he is also known for his acting work in the HBO Max series It’s a Sin.

The songs that have already been released are Kylie Minogue‘s cover of “Marry the Night,” Big Freedia‘s cover of “Judas,” and Orville Peck‘s cover of “Born This Way.” The two remaining songs, whose artists have not yet been announced, are “You and I” and “Highway Unicorn.”

Elton John and the group Years & Years teamed up for an epic performance at the 2021 Brit Awards!

The legendary entertainer and the band’s frontman Olly Alexander joined forces for a cover of the Pet Shop Boys classic “It’s a Sin” during the event on Tuesday (May 11) at the O2 Arena in London, England.

For those who don’t know, Olly was the star of the recent HBO Max limited series It’s a Sin and the performance was inspired by the show. Elton was a vocal supporter of the show.

After the performance, Elton announced that a studio recording of the “It’s a Sin” cover is now available where every you get your music. Proceeds will support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Adam Lambert and Olly Alexander both have very fun senses of style and they put their fashion-forward outfits on display at the 2021 Brit Awards!

The two singers met up on the red carpet at the event on Tuesday (May 11) at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Olly, who recently starred in the critically acclaimed HBO Max It’s a Sin, and his band Years & Years will be performing during the show with Elton John. If you didn’t know, Elton was a vocal supporter of the series and personally called up the cast to compliment their performances.

Adam presented the award for Best British Group alongside Olly Murs during the show.

Boy George also was on the red carpet and he just had dinner with Adam and his boyfriend a couple of weeks ago!

Olly Alexander is back to releasing music!

The 30-year-old It’s a Sin star returned on Thursday (April 8) with “Starstruck,” his brand new single as Years & Years.

It’s also the first new Years & Years music since 2018’s Palo Santo.

According to Olly, the song “came together one night at a studio in the countryside outside of London. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d seen so many stars, you get used to them not being there when you live in the city. Since we’ve all had to stop, all I’ve wanted to do is go out and dance. So I’ve been putting all that pent up energy into the music.”

“‘Starstruck’ is about the rush you get when you’re with somebody you’re really into, it’s about holding onto a good feeling and not letting it go. Like most of us I’ve spent the past year at home, and I wanted to create something super positive and fun for people (and myself) to bop along too. Whatever we’re doing or wherever we are in life, I think we all deserve three minutes of interstellar ecstasy.”

He also recently opened up about the It’s a Sin sex scenes, and the show’s impact.

Years & Years are finally back with their brand new album Palo Santo, which you can listen to right here!

The “If You’re Over Me” Olly Alexander-fronted troupe dropped their sophomore studio album on Friday (July 6).

“Palo Santo is the name of this type of wood that you burn and the smoke is meant to cleanse and purify your space of evil spirits. So I have a lot of evil spirits aiming to get rid of. I just became very fascinated by this thing, palo santo, and I also just love the way it sounded, like a place. So we used it to kind of create, be the name for this fictional world we made for the album,” Olly explained to Zane Lowe.

Years & Years are back with the first official single from their new album called “If You’re Over Me,” and you can listen to it right here!

The song was released on Thursday (May 10) ahead of the release of the group’s second studio album Palo Santo, out on July 6.

Along with announcing the album, the group released a short film of the same name featuring narration by Judi Dench.

The group teased their upcoming album with “Sanctify” in March.

“This is a song about trying to stay friends with an ex. Spoiler alert – it doesn’t often work. In fact, in my experience, the relationship often ends up ruined. ‘If You’re Over Me’ is about the emotional torture that ensues – meeting up and making out, then breaking up all over again, then making out some more,” says frontman Olly Alexander.
