There were some major cultural moments that happened this year, and the platform just revealed which 10 had the most impact. The data was taken from January 1, 2022-November 21, 2022.

Jeffree Star is moving on from YouTube.
The 36-year-old beauty guru and brand owner has nearly 16 million subscribers and more than 2.5 billion views on his channel, which has been active since early 2006.
However, he announced plans to step back from the platform during an episode of his new docu-series with fellow YouTuber Shane Dawson.

The popular YouTube star known as Dream has finally revealed his face and his real name to the world after years of being anonymous!
The YouTube star, who is known for his Minecraft videos, has always worn a mask in videos or just didn’t have his face on screen at all… until now.
Dream took to his YouTube channel, which has more than 30 million subscribers, on Sunday night (October 2) to reveal his face.

Forbes has identified the most powerful influencers on the Internet in a first-ever ranking, called the Top Creators 2022 list.
The group of creators has amassed a combined 1.9 billion followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and all together, they’ve made $570 million in 2021. Their average age is 31.
The influencers were determined based on their earnings, clout and entrepreneurship, as well as their engagement as indicated by likes, shares and comments. (Click here for a full list explanation.)

Nikkie Tutorials, Bretman Rock and Safiya Nygaard also made the cut.
The number one earner on this list has the potential to earn $196,877 across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Elon Musk is reflecting on his experience on Joe Rogan‘s podcast.
The 51-year-old Tesla exec made an appearance on the Nelk Boys‘ Full Send Podcast this week, where he discussed his appearance in which he famously smoked weed.
During the recording, Elon went viral for smoking on the 54-year-old Joe Rogan Experience host’s show back in September of 2018 while discussing Tesla, causing the company’s stock prices to briefly sink.
