OlderElizabeth Olsen: 'Oldboy' Remake?
Elizabeth Olsen catches a late night flight out of LAX Airport on Wednesday (February 29) in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old actress recently was offered an interesting new role opposite Josh Brolin in a film called Oldboy, THR reports.
Lizzie would play a “caseworker who helps investigate the past of the character being played by Brolin, a man kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years and inexplicably released.”
Spike Lee is attached to direct the remake of the 2003 South Korean thriller.

Here goes hollywood remaking another masterpiece. Seriously, why does it need a remake, It just came out a few years ago… They’ll probably get rid of the twist.

@laly While agree it shouldn’t be remade cause it’s a fantastic movie alone, it wasn’t made a few years ago… I think next year is Oldboy’s 10th anniversary
I actually think they should remake this one. Sounds like with Brolin and Olsen it’d be really good.
Goood, this brilliant movie doesn’t need a remake! nobody could play that kind of characters better than the asian actors in the movie…
I hate when hollywood remakes great foreign films because I always know what happens already… like girl with the dragon tattoo and the ring.
And I know what happens at the end of this one too!
