Painter Thomas Kinkade Dead At 54

Thomas Kinkade, famous painter, passed away at his home in Northern California at the age of 54.

The popular artist died alone in his residence in Los Gatos on Friday (April 6), reportedly from natural causes, a rep confirmed to Reuters.

“Thom provided a wonderful life for his family…We are shocked and saddened by his death,” his wife Nanette said in a statement.

“With whatever talent and resources I have, I’m trying to bring light to penetrate the darkness many people feel” Thomas said about his art.
