Natalie Portman: Elie Wiesel Tribute Dinner Speaker!
Natalie Portman takes the stage at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s 2012 Elie Wiesel National Tribute dinner held at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center on Wednesday (April 18) in Washington, DC.
The 30-year-old actress spoke for ten minutes to the crowd about the mission of the museum.

Natalie also took time in her speech to congratulate Aung San Suu Kyi, the winner of this year’s United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Elie Wiesel Award. Aung San Suu Kyi was recognized for her aiding of the Burmese people through non-violent means.

Aung San Suu Kyi is such an AMAZING woman!! She’s an advocate for democracy and human rights and a peace activist.
There are few people on this planet who have as much courage as this woman.
