I grew up watching Seau play back when I lived in Vista, CA for about 4 years before I had to move up to Northern Cali during the 4th grade, which was the year that SD went to the Superbowl with the 49er’s and here I was..new kid in town in the middle of 49er country rooting for Seau and the Chargers….this tragic news saddens me, very sad day for Charger fans. RIP Junior.

@jen:

Very sad for Football fans, period. He was a great talent and a shoe in for ‘Hall of Fame’. So so sad.

This is tragic. RIP! My brother suffered from depression, I tried to help him when he was down, it’s like dealing with a bi-polar person. Tough to get your life back on track but it can be done. Family is so vital. Appreciate life, my friends.

Growing up even though I was a cowboy fan everytime I would go outside and play touch football with my friends I would pretend I was junior seau. He was full of so much energy and passion it was amazng to watch. To see his mother in so much pain and hurt was simply tragic. God be with her and junior.

He’s a 12-time Probowler…..

RIP Junior Seau
