OlderJames Franco: 'Spring Breakers' Casting 'Was Perfect'
Spring Breakers co-stars Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, and Vanessa Hudgens pose in their bikinis for a feature in Interview‘s May issue.
“When I wrote the script, I started thinking about girls in bikinis with guns, wearing ski masks,” director Harmony Korine told the mag. “I was like, ‘Where would you see that?’ And the idea of spring break came to me. I just started imagining girls on spring break robbing places.”
“When Harmony told me who he was going to cast, I thought it was perfect for so many reasons. The young actresses are so excited to do a movie like this with someone like [him]. They were so eager and enthusiastic to be a part of it,” said James Franco, who plays a drug and arms dealer in the film.

if it is r rated i will consider watching it but there are certain sources (probably wrong) saying it will be nc-17! Wow

@aimee: the movie is called SPRING BREAKERS so even if the girls were demure and reserved (which i’m sure you would know because since you’re calling them trashy you obviously know each and every one of them personally, right?) they obviously aren’t going to act it since spring break is notoriously known for drinking and girls gone wild. but nice try.
