# 9

Congrats to a classy champion.

Number #1 once again! He clearly is the best :)

i cried when he cried.. disgusted that the commentators didn’t think he was one of the greats. pis*s off. For me, federer is the best tennis player of all. that man is a class act. (And his twins are adorable)

Yes he is the champ!

Long live the champion! Congrats Roger :)

Congrats to Roger… even though I wanted Andy to win!
I cried when Andy cried while he was giving his speech!! He’s so emotional and you can tell he really cares about this sport (so does Federer, of course).
I’m sure Andy will win one someday; he’s a great player and he’s still young!
*fingers crossed* Andy wins the U.S. Open!

…It also doesn’t hurt that Andy’s hot.

He is lucky Rafa was injured.

He is the best!!!!!!!!!

AMAZING! Truly one of the sweetest victories as a fan of his. For him to not only win another slam but to have gained No1 back at almost 31 years old while his biggest rivals are in primes of their careers, astounding. Loved him even if he lost today but ugh today was sooooo sweet!

@katie: you play who you play, tennis isn’t about 1 specific player vs another otherwise they wouldn’t have a 128 player draw, they’d just skip right to final w/2 players. Fed won his title fair & square. Just as Rafa won all his titles fair & square.

Yay for Roger! Great comeback for him. Every time I watch sports on TV, I turn the volume off. Can’t stand the stupid commentators, what good are they?

@Wimbledon: Can’t wait for next year when he’s dethroned again.

Too bad Federer had to play more tournaments than Nadal and Djokovic to reclaim #1. He’ll only be #1 for a short time, anyway.

Congrats to Roger! He played an awesome match and definitely deserved to win.

@Sayer: What an unintelligent comment. Yeah Roger had to play more tournaments to reclaim his #1 ranking but 1) He wouldn’t have claimed it had Djokovic or Nadal actually REACHED the Wimbledon finals and 2) Roger is over 30 while his two biggest rivals are in the prime of their careers. The fact he’s played almost double the amount of games his rivals have only makes his win that much more impressive.

I like Djokovic and Nadal, they are amazing talents, but it irritates me when newbie tennis fans insult Roger. There is no player in the history of tennis with as much skill and flair as he has, and neither of his rivals have been as consistent as he was when he was 24-25.

Well done to Murray! He has nothing to be ashamed of. He’s really matured alot as a player and his time will come.

Roger is a true class act,he hardly questions the call of the ball even if its supposed to be his score not the opponent. He deserved to win ,but Andy put up a good fight,he’ll get his major title one of this day.Love love Rogers twins, they are adorable, lucky lucky guy ,he’s got it all!

Roger Federer is the a tennis god! I am so happy he won and it was worth staying up till 4am to watch him reclaim the trophy!!!!!

I love Roger Federer, great to see him win Wimbledon
