'Paranormal Activity 4' Tops Weekend Box Office

Paranormal Activity 4 takes the number one slot at this weekend’s box office.

The scary flick brought in $30 million, which included $15 million from Friday’s haul including $4.5 million from Thursday’s midnight showing, according to Deadline.

The Ben Affleck film Argo came in second with $16.6 million. Ben directed the movie, which is getting rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

Taken 2 dropped to third place bringing in $13.3 million.

Rounding out the top five was Selena Gomez‘s animated movie Hotel Transylvania with $13.2 and Alex Cross with $12 million.

I saw Alex Cross this weekend. It was pretty packed when I saw it.

I still have to see Taken. And I’ll probably watch Paranormal Activity 4 too. But only because I’ve watch all the previous ones. I hope it’s the last one. I hate it when they extend movie franchises to more than 3 movies. It gets boring.

Excited to see Paranormal. The franchise has been the only horror to actually scare me, I hope it’s good!
