Dua Lipa Explains ‘Siding With’ Kanye West Over Taylor Swift
You may remember, Dua Lipa had some drama when it came to choosing sides in the Taylor Swift and Kanye West drama.
Last year, a photo surfaced of the 22-year-old entertainer wearing a Speak Now shirt, seemingly supporting Taylor.
Then, fans found a resurfaced interview where Dua Lipa said she would choose Kanye over Taylor, prompting some fans to get upset.
Well, the singer explained why she “chose” Kanye over Taylor in that one interview.
“I wasn’t thinking about their beef. I was thinking about their music, and Taylor is amazing, but I’m such a hip-hop fan that I would probably choose Kanye over anyone,” she told Rolling Stone. “[Some Taylor fans] were sending me snake emojis for, like, three days straight. They’re like, ‘I hope you die.’ I’m like, ‘Yo! I literally didn’t say anything.’”‰”
