Emmy Nomination Snubs 2014 - 'Orphan Black,' 'Walking Dead,' & More Left Off the List

The 2014 Emmy Awards nominations were announced today, but some fans aren’t too happy that their favorite shows were left off of the list!

Orphan Black was one of the shows to be completely left off of the list. The leading lady of the show, Tatiana Maslany, was snubbed for sure, and fans of the show had #EmmyForMaslany trending on social media. The official Twitter account for the show even offered a hilarious GIF after news broke – see below.

While The Good Wife did receive a nom for it’s star Julianna Margulies, a Best Drama nomination was forgotten completely! Also left off the list was The Walking Dead which also received zero nominations.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was also noticeably left off the lists – especially a nomination for Andy Samberg, who won the Golden Globe last year! Fans of The Americans and Sons of Anarchy are also buzzing about their shows’ lack of love.

Rebel Wilson Upset She Wasn't Submitted for Emmy Consideration

Rebel Wilson is speaking out about her disappointment over ABC not submitting her for consideration to be nominated at the 2014 Emmy Awards.

“Oh man, I realize my show Super Fun Night was cancelled, but it sucks that they didn’t even put me in the race for the Emmys…not that I thought I would have a chance of winning but there wasn’t many females heading network comedies and I might’ve had a slight chance at the 6th nomination slot… Oh well, will have to just try for Oscar or Tony,” Rebel tweeted.

“I just feel like I’ve been banned from buying a raffle ticket for a raffle I had a super fat chance of winning anyways,” she added.

While networks often do the submission process for their stars, the actors themselves are often responsible for it as well.

Seth Meyers Set to Host Emmy Awards 2014!

Seth Meyers is set to take his hosting duties from late night to prime time with the 2014 Emmy Awards this summer!

The 40-year-old Late Night with Seth Meyers host will be front and center at the show on August 25. It is fitting that he is the host as it will air on NBC this year.

Previous hosts of the Emmys include Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, and fellow late night talk show hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. Every year, the host always seems to align with the network that the show will air on to help boost ratings for the host’s program.
