Amanda Bynes Released from Psychiatric Facility - All the Details

Amanda Bynes has been released from the psychiatric facility early, just days after doctors granted a 30-day hold on the actress.

The 28-year-old actress has been held on an involuntary psychiatric hold for nearly three weeks and she reportedly went before a hearing officer at the facility on Thursday (October 30) to request she be released, according to TMZ.

While doctors believe she is seriously mentally ill, the hearing officer thought Amanda was stable enough that she couldn’t be held involuntarily, so he ended the 30-day hold.

Amanda was spotted walking down Sunset Boulevard, where she stopped by a diner alone and ordered herself a feast of “fried chicken, salmon, caesar salad with guacamole, and a house salad with Italian and ranch.” See the photos on

Amanda Bynes has been admitted to a hospital where she was placed on a psychiatric hold, according to TMZ.

The 28-year-old former actress arrived in Los Angeles within the last couple hours and was picked up by a car service, which she thought would take her to the London Hotel. Her parents instead had the car service take her to a Pasadena hospital instead, where they were waiting for her with their lawyer and doctors.
