Drake has made some rare comments about his audition for Degrassi: The Next Generation in a new video.
The 36-year-old musician shared a new video to his Instagram Reels about the acting role, recalling what happened just hours before his audition – he got high!

Back in January 2022, it was announced that HBO Max had greenlit a brand-new version of Degrassi, but now the series is no longer moving forward.
When the series was announced, it was confirmed that 10 hour-long episodes had been ordered and that the first season would debut on HBO Max in 2023.
Set in Toronto, the new series was going to explore a group of teenagers and school faculty living in the shadow of events that both bind them together and tear them apart. The show would travel deep into the hearts and homes of diverse, complicated characters, as they struggle to find their new normal, reaching for hope, redemption and love.
The Wall Street Journal revealed the cancellation news while reporting on how the streamer is moving away from children and teen programming.
