Joe Jonas & Ashley Greene Split Confirmed

Joe Jonas split from Twilight starlet Ashley Greene weeks ago, sources confirm to JustJared.com.

The couple started dating last summer after her split with actor Brock Kelly.

“It was mutual and amicable,” a source told NYPost, adding they drifted apart because of their work schedules.

Joe, 21, has been in NYC working on his upcoming solo album. Ashley, 24, shot a new campaign for cosmetics brand, mark. She spent yesterday in the Big Apple lunching with her dad (also Joe) and watching the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

On Tuesday night, Ashley partied at NYC hotspot Avenue with friends including Kings of Leon rocker Jared Followill. (This isn’t the first time Ashley and Jared have been spotted hanging out.)

Joe, who has dated Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle, and Demi Lovato, just opened up to Details about Ashley: “I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule.” Maybe not!

UPDATE: Reps for Joe and Ashley released a joint statement: “We can confirm they have parted ways and have no further comment.”

'Battle: Los Angeles' Tops Box Office

Battle: Los Angeles nabbed the top spot at this weekend’s box office, bringing in $39 million in ticket sales!

Rango took second place in a strong second week finish with $23 million, followed by Red Riding Hood with $14.1 million.

Fourth place was The Adjustment Bureau, with $12 million, and fifth place went to Mars Needs Moms with an unexpectedly low finish at $6.8 million.

Just missing the top five were Hall Pass and Beastly with $5.1 million and $5 million, respectively.

FYI: Deadline notes that Just Go With It, which finished in eighth place this weekend, is close to hitting the $100 million mark in cumulative box office sales.

Nickelodeon to Air 1990s Programming Beginning This Fall

Old-school Nickelodeon fans, your day has come – the network has announced that beginning this fall, TeenNick will air 1990s programming favorites including Clarissa Explains It All, All That, Rugrats, and Kenan & Kel!

The programming block will air from midnight until 2 a.m. and be called The ’90s Are All That, EW reports, adding that the network approved the idea after seeing interest from fans across social media sites.

Also airing in the block are Pete & Pete and The Amanda Show. EW notes that over time, TeenNick hopes to air other ’90s shows and movies.

'Rango' Tops Box Office, 'Adjustment Bureau' Takes 2nd

Rango took the first place spot at this weekend’s box office, bringing in $37 million in ticket sales.

The animated film, which features the voices of Johnny Depp and Isla Fisher, beat out second place finisher The Adjustment Bureau (with $21 million).

Third place was Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer‘s Beastly, with a better than expected $9.7 million, followed by Hall Pass with $9 million.

Gnomeo & Juliet rounded out the top five with $7.2 million.
