Gerard Butler joins Michael Shannon for a photograph at the after party for the premiere of his latest film The Iceman held at Supperclub on Monday (April 22) in Hollywood, Calif.

Michael, 38, was joined at the premiere by his co-stars Winona Ryder, Stephen Dorff, Ryan O’Nan, and Ray Liotta while Sylvester Stallone and Jaimie Alexander came out to show their support.

The 44-year-old Olympus Has Fallen actor recently chatted with Shortlist Magazine about his dog Lolita.

“I know it’s not politically correct to buy a dog from a pet store, but there was this one dog asleep with one eye open and its tongue hanging out. I pulled her out and she started biting the sh-t out me,” Gerard said. “I was going to leave but I couldn’t stop myself, so I bought her and we immediately started putting cigarettes in her mouth and all that stuff – not lit, of course – and I realized you could have lot of fun with a dog. Until she started sh-tting all over the place. I was on a private plane once, and it was like somebody had bathed us in sh-t.” More Here! »

The 43-year-old actor recently chatted with GQ UK about the similarities between his new film Olympus Has Fallen and the recent situation in North Korea.

“We were very careful to make it not necessarily about North Korea, but a very focused radical organization with their own complex motivations,” Gerard said. “In the movie we present North Korea as it is: it’s a dangerous opponent, and it is aggressive, but it doesn’t instigate this attack.”

Gerry is in town to promote his new film Olympus Has Fallen and was seen attending the premiere last week in Mexico City.

“I broke two little bones in my neck. I lost a fingernail – I banged it in a fight, and of all the injuries that I got, that was the most painful. It felt like someone took my finger and slammed it with a mallet,” Gerard shared about the injuries he sustained while shooting the flick.

He added, “I got a burn in my throat from a flicked cigarette (his throat was coated in glycerin), I bruised the back of my leg from my knee to my ass, and I chipped a bone in my forearm. The whole thing swelled up and went black.”

Gerard Butler suits up in Z Zegna for the premiere of his film Olympus Has Fallen held at the Antara Mall on Friday (April 12) in Mexico City, Mex.

The 43-year-old star of the film attended a photo call for the flick earlier in the day.

“I feel like I’ve come out of a string…of bad-luck movies. Sometimes my fault, but other times not my fault,” Gerard told The Independent. “I can’t specify a movie, but there was one where I just think it was the wrong director, and another where the director had to be taken off the film because he basically had Alzheimer’s. And if you make a few movies in Hollywood that don’t make a lot of money, you’ve got to be careful.”
