It has been ten years since Gia Farrell released her catchy song “Hit Me Up” on the Happy Feet soundtrack and now she’s ready to hit the music scene again with her new single “Original Sin.”

The singer just dropped the new song on iTunes and she also has released a music video inspired by the television show Dexter. Watch the video below!

“My new song ‘Original Sin’ is out today on iTunes and every other music platform you can think of! Go grab it! I love you guys!” Gia wrote on Instagram.

Gia Farrell has been away from the music scene for several years and now she is ready to make her comeback in her new band Blackbird!

The 25-year-old powerhouse singer is best known for her song “Hit Me Up,” which was the theme of the Oscar-winning movie Happy Feet back in 2006. After parting ways with her record label, she decided to take some time off to develop a new sound and forge a new path in the music business.

Gia has teamed up with musician Kandice Brending for this new duo and they just released the lyric video for their first song “Can’t Make Somebody Love You”. Check it out below!
