Toni Collette, Merritt Wever, and Kaitlyn Dever are set to star in An Unbelievable Story of Rape, an eight-episode limited series for Netflix.
The series follows the “true story of Marie (Dever), a teenager who was charged with lying about having been raped, and the two female detectives (Collette and Wever) who followed a twisting path to arrive at the truth.”
The Kids Are All Right writer and director Lisa Cholodenko will be directing the first three episodes.
Toni can currently be seen on the big screen in the horror film Hereditary. Merritt is an Emmy winner for her work on Nurse Jackie. Kaitlyn, who starred on seven seasons of Last Man Standing, just wrapped work on Olivia Wilde‘s Booksmart.
