Sasha Pieterse gets up close and personal with her partner Gleb Savchenko for their performance on Dancing With the Stars‘ Latin Night on Tuesday (September 26) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress performed a samba and received a score of 22 out of 30 points for her dance.

During the opening package, Sasha bravely opened up about how she has gained 70 pounds over the past two years due to a medical condition, but being on the show is helping her shed some weight. She has already lost 15 pounds!

Sasha Pieterse bravely opened up about her weight gain over the years during the latest episode of Dancing With the Stars.

The 21-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress says she gained 70 pounds in the last two years due to a medical condition, but she has already lost 15 pounds since being on the show.

“I love this song because it really resonates with me about what I’ve been through and what I’m still going through,” Sasha said about dancing to Hailee Steinfeld‘s “Most Girls” on Tuesday (September 26).

“I gained 70-ish pounds over two years,” she added. “It was really, really hurtful the way people reacted. People were saying stuff like, ‘she’s pregnant, you’re fat.’ They were angry, they were mad that I look like this.”

“[It was] one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. I had no idea what was going on and I didn’t have any way of solving it,” Sasha said. “Very recently I was diagnosed with PCOS, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, a hormone imbalance. Finally, I knew why this was happening to me.”

“Now, I’m seeing results,” Sasha said about being on DWTS. “I think most importantly, I’m feeling like me again. Being on the show, I’ve lost over 15 pounds.”

The 21-year-old former Pretty Little Liars actress had a big day as it was just announced she will reprise her role as Ali in the upcoming spinoff series The Perfectionists!

Sasha tied for the fourth highest score of the night with a 23 out of 30 points for her waltz. It was an improvement on her score from last week as she scored an 18.

Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish will be reprising their roles from Pretty Little Liars in the upcoming spinoff series The Perfectionists, which was just ordered to pilot.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will be based on the book by author Sara Shepard and I. Marlene King is adapting the book to connect it to her hit series.

Here is how the upcoming series is being described: “Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.”

The 21-year-old actress is best known for her work on Pretty Little Liars and she says that her motivation for appearing on the show is to get herself in shape for her upcoming wedding to fiance Hudson Sheaffer.

Sasha received a score of 18 out of 30 points for her performance.
