Bradley Cooper Flies Virgin America
Bradley Cooper checks himself in and catches a first-class seat out of LAX airport in Los Angeles via Virgin America on Saturday (August 22). Here’s what the 34-year-old actor opened up to USA Weekend:
On losing out to Ryan Reynolds for 2011′s Green Lantern (he was on a USO tour in the Middle East when the news broke): “It was more of an ego hurt than any sort of artistic one… It’s surreal being in a forward-operating base in Afghanistan and having a Marine coming up to you and him going, ‘Hey, man. Sorry you didn’t get Green Lantern.’ ”
On being “devastated” when Michael Mann didn’t cast him in the gangster flick Public Enemies: “[Rejection] is such a huge, inherent part of the business.”
Bradley next stars as a TV cameraman who is the object of Sandra Bullock‘s unwanted affection in All About Steve, out September 4.
