Ben McKenzie: Back On The Southland Set

Ben McKenzie returns to the Southland set for a new episode of the police drama on Wednesday (January 19) in Hollywood, Calif.

Earlier this month, the 32-year-old former OC actor spoke about why he currently prefers to be on a cable show.

“If you’re faced with the prospect of doing two or three unsatisfying movies that will either be very commercial and not challenge you as an actor or be small independent films that may not be that great and that no one will see,” Ben told the WSJ. “Versus being on a cable show where you get to say good words and challenge yourself on a daily basis and get paid for it, it’s hard to decide on the movie end of things.”
