Carey Mulligan: 'Outback' Bound?

Carey Mulligan hails a cab on Wednesday (June 29) in New York City’s East Village.

The 26-year-old English actress is currently in town starring in a production of the play Through A Glass Darkly, where she’s been receiving solid reviews for her portrayal of an unstable young woman.

Carey may be headed to Australia in the upcoming film Outback, Variety reports.

Tobey Maguire is producing the sci-fi action film with Gary Ross and Graham King.

Carey will hit the big screen next opposite Ryan Gosling in Drive, then opposite Michael Fassbender in Shame.
