'Argo' Tops Weekend Box Office in Third Weekend
Ben Affleck‘s Argo has topped this weekend’s box office in a slow movie-going Friday-Sunday.
The flick brought in $12.4 million, for a North American domestic total of $60.8 million, according to THR.
Hotel Transylvania came in at number two with $9.5 milllion in its fifth weekend for a domestic total of $130.4 million.
Halle Berry and Tom Hanks‘ Cloud Atlas, which opened this weekend, ranked at number three with $9.4 million.
Paranormal Activity 4 came it at number four with $8.7 million, and Silent Hill: Revelation tied with Taken 2 at $8 million for number 5.
Victoria Justice and Chelsea Handler‘s new film Fun Size debuted at number 10 with $4 million while Gerard Butler‘s new surfing flick Chasing Mavericks had a weak debut at number 13 with just $2.2 million.
