Ben Affleck Talks Adapting 'The Stand'

The 40-year-old actor, who was recently named GQ‘s Filmmaker of the Year, talked with the mag about his troubles with adapting the book The Stand into a film.

“It’s not ready; it’s not good enough yet. Right now we’re having a very hard time,” Ben said. “But I like the idea�”it’s like The Lord of the Rings in America. And it’s about how we would reinvent ourselves as a society. If we started all over again, what would we do?”
