Harry Connick Jr.'s Daughter Georgia Arrested for Allegedly Providing Alcohol to Minors

Harry Connick Jr.‘s 19-year-old daughter Georgia was arrested over the weekend after allegedly providing alcohol to minors at a party held at the family home in Connecticut.

Police were called to the house just after 1:00am on Saturday morning (August 15) after someone reported underage drinking. Harry and his wife Jill Goodacre were not home at the time and Georgia told officers that swarms of people showed up to what was supposed to be a small gathering.

While many young people were seen running into the woods surrounding the home when police arrived, about 15 party guests between the ages of 18 and 20 stayed behind and their parents were contacted, according to NBC New York.

“This is a private matter which we are dealing with as a family. We have no further comments. Thank you for understanding,” Harry told JustJared.com in a statement.

Georgia is reportedly set to appear in court on September 2.
