'Meredith Vieira Show' Canceled After Two Seasons

The Meredith Vieira Show has been canceled after two seasons on the air.

The talk show, featuring host Meredith Vieira, kicked off in September 2014 to strong numbers, but the ratings cooled off throughout the first season.

“I am so sorry to see our show come to an end after this season, but I am also incredibly proud of the work our staff has done and forever grateful to our supportive viewers,” Meredith told Deadline in a statement. “We promise to spend our final weeks producing the best broadcast we know how. And have a blast doing so!”

Meredith will continue to work with NBC after the show ends as she will cover the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
