Zendaya Lands Lead in Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot!
Zendaya has reportedly landed a leading role in the upcoming Marvel reboot of the Spider-Man series, Deadline reports!
The 19-year-old actress will star opposite Spider-Man, who will be played by young actor Tom Holland, in the role of “Michelle.”
It is unclear if Zendaya will be the love interest in the story, as characters Mary Jane and Gwen are Spider-Man’s primary love interests in the comics.
Zendaya reportedly quietly screen tested for the role with a handful of other young starlets.
Marvel has not confirmed the news.
