'Peter Pan' Gets Live-Action Treatment From Disney

Disney is adding Peter Pan to it’s live-action treatment list.

According to THR, Pete’s Dragon director David Lowery will direct the new version of the classic story by J.M. Barrie.

The original animated film came out in 1953 and centers on a mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, and spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, Natives, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland.
