Colin Farrell Gained 40 Pounds For ‘The Lobster’

The 39-year-old actor talked about his new film The Lobster and discussed having to gain 40 pounds for the role.

“I gained about 43-45 pounds,” Colin told Jimmy. “The director said if he was too thin then there would be ‘a psychological issue, we don’t want to confuse the audience. I think he’s soft’. So I ate cheeseburgers for breakfast.”
