'The Flash' & 'Supergirl' Will Have a Musical Crossover Episode!

The CW is planning a major musical event!

The network just announced that there will be a musical crossover episode of The Flash and Supergirl.

“Yes, there will be a musical crossover,” executive producer Greg Berlanti told reporters (via EW) at the 2016 Summer TCA Tour. “There’s going to be a musical pair of episodes in the back half of the year between Supergirl and Flash.”

He added, “Some of you may know my own personal love of musicals and actors who have been in them, and we have a number of people who can sing across all the shows who will be making some very exciting appearances in the back half of the year.”

In case you don’t know, The Flash‘s Jesse L. Martin and Grant Gustin have both been on Broadway, as has Supergirl star Jeremy Jordan. Meanwhile, Melissa Benoist also has a background in musical theater.
