Simone Biles Carries American Flag During Rio Olympics 2016 Closing Ceremony

Simone Biles carries the American flag during the “Heroes of the Games” portion of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony at Maracana Stadium on Sunday (August 21) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 19-year-old Olympian won four gold medals and one bronze medal during all of the gymnastics competitions at the summer games.

“I’m afraid the flag is going to be too heavy for me,” Simone said about being worried for the closing ceremony. “Michael Phelps is so much taller and he seemed to carry it so easily, and I’m very short. So I’m a little worried about that part.”
