Drake Professes Love for Rihanna During VMAs Speech (Video)

Drake presents the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to his rumored girlfriend Rihanna at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (August 28) in New York City.

The 29-year-old rapper gave a super sweet speech about how he first met Rihanna many years ago and he also professed his love for her!

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” Drake said, which prompted huge cheers from the audience.

Drake was supposed to be at the show earlier in the night, but he reportedly got stuck in traffic and missed the presentation of his award for Best Male Video for “Hotline Bling.”

FYI: Rihanna is wearing an Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown. Drake is wearing Tom Ford.
