Ben McKenzie Reveals 'Gotham' Season Three Secrets!

Ben McKenzie took a break from filming for season three of his hit Fox series Gotham to visit The Empire State Building on Monday (November 21) in New York City.

“Nothing more fitting for @gothamonfox than the iconic @empirestatebldg,” the 38-year-old actor wrote on Instagram. “All new episode tonight! #madcity #gotham #gothamseason3.”

While at the top the famous landmark, Ben opened up about his non-traditional Thanksgiving plans – for the first time as a dad!

“We’re doing Middle Eastern food,” he told People. “My sister-in-law is Armenian, so we’re rocking that this year. We’re not going to cook, we’re just going to order. Too lazy!”

“I spent Thanksgiving [in New York] a couple of years ago … eating Chinese food,” Ben continued. “I really like holidays in New York, it feels appropriately… wintery.”

Staying in the Big Apple for Turkey Day means Ben will be close to set as he continues filming for Gotham.

He revealed that season three will be “explosive,” adding that “some old characters reemerge, who we may have thought were dead.”
