Every year in December, Just Jared reveals our top celebrities of the year.

This year, we’re doing things a little differently, where we’re asking fans to vote who they think was the most popular celebrity on JustJared.com for the past 12 months!

We figure out who was the most popular celeb by compiling data and calculating a number of factors, including pageviews/hits from readers, comments, and social media interaction. The number of posts on each celeb during the year is also a factor. Data was calculated through December 11.

Just Jared readers voted Sam Heughan as their choice for JJ‘s top celeb of 2017 by a huge margin! Dakota Johnson came in second place. Later, we’ll announce what the Just Jared data says about which celebs are the biggest on the site. Thanks for voting!
