Taron Egerton is Elton John on New 'Rocketman' Poster

Taron Egerton transforms into the legendary singer Elton John for this new teaser poster for the upcoming movie Rocketman.

The 29-year-old actor not only acts as Elton in the film, he also sings all of the songs featured in the movie!

In a newly released featurette, music producer Giles Martin says, “Elton said, ‘I don’t know if I’ve ever heard anyone sing my songs better than Taron.’ The great thing about Elton is that he wants Taron’s interpretations of his songs.”

The film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John. This inspirational story tells the universally relatable story of how a small-town boy became one of the most iconic figures in pop culture.
