Alicia Vikander's 'Tomb Raider' Sequel Finds Script Writer

The Tomb Raider sequel with Alicia Vikander is moving forward!

According to Deadline, MGM and Warner Bros have hired Amy Jump to write the script for the upcoming film.

Sources say Alicia has liked what she’s seen in Amy‘s writing so far.

Amy is best known for her collaborations with director and partner Ben Wheatley.

Her credits include Free Fire, Kill List, A Field In England, Sightseers, and High-Rise.

The first Tomb Raider grossed $274 million worldwide.

There is no word on when the sequel will begin filming.
